It has been a while since we had a blind tasting event. So I thought we would have 2 greats grapes from Washington state (Reisling and and Syrah) and have a go at with a blind tasting with California, Australia, Germany, and France. There will be a contest to see who can guess the correct area of the wine. Good luck!
Washington Reislings are different from other areas in that they are crisp and refreshing and not sweet. I had a Chateau St. Michelle Eroica Reising at Hacienda del Sol this week that was outstanding. Meanwhile, Washington's Syrahs are full bodied with tastes of blackberries.
Can't wait to have this wine tasting event with some great wines from around the world in a blind taste.
Signing up for this Event:
Under the new format, people will sign up to the waiting list. Then we select approximately 35-40 participants randomly (using the sorting hat).
Please update your attendance status timely if your plans have changed so others can fill your spot.
This is not a pot luck. Bring some fruit or unique cheese to share. The host provides bread, crackers, and water.
