Qigong meditation promotes increased happiness, relaxation, increased focus, optimism, creativity and inner peace. Meet with us in local parks and quite outdoor spaces to learn and practice Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi meditation.
This qigong set was created in 1979 by the renowned Professor Lin Housheng, former director of the Shanghai Qigong Research Institute and is taught in Chinese medical universities and is promoted as a health exercise by the government of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapour and Thailand.
Qigong works with gentle movements to stretch the muscles and move the body in a manner that promotes movement of chi energy throughout the body. It is often called Chinese Yoga, but is more focused on energy flow and less on intense stretches than Hatha Yoga. You will learn to relax during movement, and carry that with you as you move throughout the day.
