Shelby Farms Dog Park information

You can get to this park by taking S. Germantown Parkway north to Trinity Road. Left on Trinity and it turns into Raleigh Lagrange Road. The dog park will be on your left. There's a dog wash area now and plenty of room to roam.

About the park:

"Shelby Farms Park lies in the heart of Shelby County in Memphis, Tennessee – 4,500 acres of green space, a community treasure, unrivaled in size and potential anywhere else in the United States." It includes lakes, and urban trails for jogging, bicycling, hiking, and dog walking. You'll also see bison! They have disc golf, horseback riding, kayaking rentals, and adult programs such as yoga, intensity workouts, photography, and marathon training.

About the dog park:

The Outback, An Off-Leash Dog Area

The Outback provides more than 100 acres of area designated for off-leash activities for you and your four-legged pal. The Outback is also home to trails, lakes and ponds for your enjoyment. Please remember that in all other areas of the Park and on the Greenline, your dogs must be kept on leash.

The Outback is a multi-use area. You'll encounter cyclists, hikers, horses and runners. Gates 11, 12 + 13 are located on Trinity Road and Raleigh-Lagrange Road on the northeastern side of the Park. The Outback features a water fountain with a doggie bowl and a dog wash station.

Outback Rules

Off-Leash Dog Park is open sunrise-sunset each day.
To use this area, your dog must be under voice command
Solid pet waste is to be picked up and disposed of
Dogs cannot disturb or interfere with wildlife or other Park users
Dogs must be on leash in all other areas of the Park or Greenline
Dogs must be on leash on all trails
Leash length is not to extend 10 feet
