Hot Club Sandwich @ Rhythm and Rye (formerly the Royal Lounge)

The Monday night jazz starts its Spring series in its new, old home. That's right...the Royal Lounge is now Rhythm and Rye; the new owner has given it a spring cleaning, a new coat of paint, and a whole host of new beverage selections. One thing that has not changed...great live jazz and cool folks to hang out with on a Monday night.

Hot Club Sandwich returns  this Monday. Founded more than ten years ago, Hot Club Sandwich began with a deep reverence for Gypsy jazz of the '30s and '40s, growing to incorporate classic jazz and folkloric influences from around the world.

Over the past decade, the distinctive Hot Club Sandwich sound has reached millions through performance and radio with recordings charting in the top 20 of the nationwide CMJ jazz charts.

Hot Club Sandwich always offers inspiration, innovation, clever arrangements and adventurous improvisations.

Happy to see the now Rhythm and Rye, has a bright new look to itself! This is a great band, and I am always into it when there's a fiddle in the band, even though this ain't Texas...
