What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in exploring new places to eat brunch at in Nashville while having fun, making friends, and establishing a new professional network. I started this group to meet other young black professionals in the city as it was hard for me to connect with others in Nashville. You DON'T have to be black to join. Each month we will dine at a different restaurant. Any suggestions are welcome. Keep in mind that we don't just have to meet for brunch! We will do other fun things too! Looking forward to exploring the city of Nashville with new friends.

We use text messages to primarily communicate with members. It is your responsibility to regularly check your text messages for RSVP confirmations for every event.


1. The event organizer(Ally) will TEXT all members who have RSVP'D YES on Friday morning prior to the event on Sunday. Members will have until 8:00 PM to respond with their confirmation. If the majority of people do not respond, the event will be CANCELED.

2. Because the number of no shows and last minute cancellations, all future RSVPs will be opened 5 days prior to the event. It is first come first serve.


Attendance is taken for each event. There are three categories of attendance:

1.When the meetup is an event where there is a limit on how many people can RSVP, after the first no-show, you will be removed from a future function if you have already RSVP'D.

2. If you consistently RSVP 'YES' but cancel last minute each time, you will be waitlisted for future events.

3. After 3 times of being a 'no show', you will be removed from the group with no warning.

Please keep in mind that those who agree to be on the waitlist also agreed to either confirm or deny their ability to attend once their status has been changed. Each person who is updated to 'YES' from the waitlist should receive an email notifying them of this change.

***Members who show up 20+ mins late will be marked as a 'No Show.' Those who repeatedly arrive late will be put on the waitlist for future events. Being respectful of each other's time is an important part of being able to function as a group in addition to allowing our events to begin on time.

If you have an issue with this policy, please address myself or Ally (Event Organizer) directly. These policies are to ensure members who would like to come have the opportunity to do so, as well as to keep no show rates low.
