Afternoon Walk at Busse Woods

Ned Brown Model Airplane Flying Field

We will be meeting at 1:30 pm at the first parking lot off the entrance from Golf Rd. This parking lot is near grove 28 for reference. My phone is always on and I respond to messages in the Meetup App. Please bring water and a phone and wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes. The main loop around Busse Woods is approximately 8 miles long, but everyone is encouraged to determine for themselves when they wish to return to their car and can turn back at any time. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and controlled at all times. Walk at the Botanic Gardens

1000 Lake Cook Rd

We will be meeting at 2 pm at the main entrance to the Chicago Botanic Gardens which has a parking lot near it that can be accessed from Lake Cook Rd. Admission is free but parking rates are listed at https://www.chicagobotanic.org/visit. The garden is also near the Braeside Metra train station for the UP North line. Please bring water, a phone and wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes. There are 27 gardens and 4 nature areas. Everyone is encouraged to determine for themselves when they wish to return to their car and can plan to visit what they would like.
