What we're about

*Heads up* We're all grown up and have moved on to post all our events on our website (www.onehealthtech.com). We're afraid due to volunteer capacity, there have been a few too many platforms to manage, and so we won't be posting our events here that much. Get in contact if you have any questions at info@onehealthtech.com*

One HealthTech is a volunteer-led, grassroots community that supports and promotes women and other under-represented groups to be future leaders in health innovation. We inspire, celebrate, enable and champion diversity in healthtech.

What we do

We provide grassroots communities with the platform to build a local, inclusive by design, healthtech community. We make all this happen through facilitating the growth of local ecosystems who collaborate across all regions.

We host friendly, informal, informative events and showcase healthtech trailblazers and organisations. We share and collaborate on amazing opportunities, and of course, stretch out a welcoming hand to whoever wants to join in on transforming health and care.

Our Contributors

Having started as a small meet-up in London in late 2015, OHT has grown to now have hubs all over the UK, as well as internationally, in Ireland, Sweden and Australia. All hubs are led by local community-builders, passionate about healthtech in their region. You can check them out on our website (www.onehealthtech.comm/hubs)

The OHT community comes from many different sectors, countries and backgrounds, and includes health and care providers, startups, corporates, academics and charities, as well as individual chaos-creating innovators.

(S)ex Machina: Should digital technology play a part in our sexual health?

*PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST JOIN OHT LONDON ON OUR WEBSITE (it's free!) TO ATTEND* https://www.onehealthtech.com/events-1/s-ex-machina-should-digital-technology-play-a-part-in-our-sexual-health -------- Sex. Sexuality. Sex positivity. Safe sex. Feeling sexy. These are all crucial areas of our physical and mental health but should we be using digital tools to keep our sexual health in working order? One HealthTech invites you to an evening where we’ll be asking an amazing line up of speakers this question - should technology play a part in our sexual health? We’ll be examining how digital tech innovation is transforming the way we manage our sexual health, the way we feel and talk about it, and what happens when we’re between the sheets (alone or with company). With leading voices in women’s health, sexuality and technology, we’re asking the difficult questions, the awkward questions and the ones you might not expect. All this will be followed by some drinks and nibbles, provided by our lovely friends at Pivotal Software and a chance to network all the other awesome healthtechies! (V)AGENDA 18:00: Arrivals & registration 18:30: Welcome from One HealthTech and a word from our sponsor Pivotal 18:40: Talks - speakers TBC 19:55: Panel 20:15: Drinks, Nibbles and Networking 21:00: Close ------ Accessibility We’ve been awarded a Fairer Tech grant from doteveryone to make our events more accessible (woop woop!). If for any reason there are barriers to engaging in the community we invite anyone to apply for up to £30* per person per event to cover personal costs to improve this. The money can cover just about anything, including but not limited to child/other care, taxis if you’re not able-bodied, trains if you live out in the countryside, a live captioner, recording of the event or loss of earnings if you have a side job along your studies. Who are we to judge?! If you feel it’s a barrier, we agree too. Simply fill out this VERY SHORT form and we’ll confirm the expense.
