What made you interested in the Open Awareness Meditation Group?

It is important for me to have the support of a smaller group for meditation. I have never meditated with a group, but this group has a compatibility that I can appreciate, with the 45 minutes, and not being strict with movement during meditation, however I tend not to move. But I definitely need some longer experience meditators to mentor me on posture and hand position. I am still very new to sitting and posture and I have over-reliance on books for instruction.

I am an armchair buddhist in search of a sangha or small liked minded group for support. I avidly read anything about non-duality or discovery of our inner wisdom nature. I enjoy my work at a local university and am devoted to my partner and our dog
