Peter and Caroline will talk through the Tech and Product journey of open sourcing Comic Relief’s website codebase, which is a work in progress. Diving into the rationale, considerations and lessons learnt so far; and wrapping up with a few thoughts on what comes next in this journey.

Kriselda Rabino, Tech Lead and Steve Smith, Software Developer and volunteer on the Draw My Life Project.

Draw My Life is a volunteer-led, open source project inspired by how children's art therapy in the field can become a basis for better data around the mental health needs of refugee children. The team believe that to produce inclusive tech, inclusion needs to be at the forefront of our processes and how we build it. This talk discusses the partnerships, tools and methods that contribute to the progress of Draw My Life whilst ensuring our volunteers enjoy the journey along the way.
