ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

What do you do once you've solved a problem? You've built a tool. You know that it meets the needs of the community. What's next?

The answer - storytelling.

In this workshop, we'll be discussing ways to effectively tell your story and successfully communicate how you've solved a problem. We'll be focused on storytelling in the context of the 2018 Open Data Challenge, but the takeaways will be relevant to everyone that needs to communicate an idea. Look for more details to come in the coming weeks.

This location is accessible to persons having disabilities. Any person having special needs or requiring special aid, such as an interpreter for the hearing impaired, is requested to contact DelDOT by phone at[masked] or by mail to DelDOT Community Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903.

ABOUT THE OPEN DATA CHALLENGE

From February through May, we'll be hosting a series of workshops and events focused on making Delaware the most accessible state in the country in partnership with DelDOT and DNREC. We call this the Open Data Challenge.

The Open Data Challenge culminates in a "Data Jam", a month long hackathon where teams build working prototypes and have the opportunity to win cash prizes for their work. You can get more information by visiting OpenDataChallenge.com.

To RSVP for final presentations from the Open Data Challenge, you can go to https://open-data-delaware.ticketleap.com/open-data-challenge-2018-data-jam-closing/.
