What are your musicial intrests?

Blues, Jazz, Rock guitarist. Jam at various blues jams, play jazz with like minded players from the Real Book and a member of "Jazz in The Living Room" Mill Pond House, St. James, Suffolk County. Have played in numerous rock groups.

Session fee $10.00 per person.

Do you have your own equipment? (Bring your own Amp & Instrument. Drummers bring cymbals. Rent Amp for night $20.00). For more information contact Scott at 516-317-2657

Have Les Paul, Strat and Fender Blues Deville Tweed along with various boxes

Saturdays: 12-4 PM Blues Classic Rock Jam. Sunday 2-6 PM Jazz & Accoustic Jam. Wednesday 7:30 - 9:30 PM Open Jam. For more information contact Dave at email address

For Jazz I use The Real Book, fifth edition covering jazz standards. Suggestions include: 1) C Jam Blues = Ellington 2) Take The A Train = Ellington 3) Satin Doll - Ellington 4) Blue Bossa - Kenny Dorham 5) Blue Monk - Theloneous Monk 6) All of Me = Simone and Marks 7) Green Dolphin Street -Washington 8) Triste - Antonio Carlos Jobim 9) Up Jumped Spring - Freddie Hubbard Would be great for all ages from beginners to pros to be able to improvise over changing jazz chords. Horn players would especially like this forum. Would need the appropriate Real Book for the instrument you are playing.

Lessons for Kids: Saturday and Sunday Mornings 9:00 to 12:00 Contact Scott for more information at 516-317-2657.

Have jammed with the group before. Songs are posted under the top menu MORE> Files Suggest Crossroads, Before You Accuse Me, Key to the Highway, Since I'v Been Loving You and any 12 bar blues songs.
