Yoga at the Lotus Pond at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is back this summer with the teachers of Yoga H’om! Join Jen Stratakis, E-RYT 500, for the following Sundays: July 7, July 21, August 4, and September 15. This is an all-levels, everyone welcome class in a beautiful and serene outdoor setting at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden in Oakdale. Bring a yoga mat, sunglasses, and a water bottle, then get ready for some inner calm and peacefulness!
Pre-registration is not required, but you must check in at the Bayer Welcome Center 15-20 minutes before class. Class is $8 for Pittsburgh Botanic Garden members and $12 for non-members. Sign in, pay, and use the facilities at the Welcome Center BEFORE class, please. Plan to arrive half an hour in advance to give yourself time to check-in and walk to the Lotus Pond.
This final summer Sunday yoga class will be accompanied by live guitar music by the very talented Ben Meyer, a recent Master's graduate of Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music, and part-time prof at Duquesne.
This outdoor class is suitable for ages 12 and over. Admission to the PBG for the day is included with your class payment, so pack a snack and your hiking shoes to explore the PBG after class.
If the weather is questionable, please call the PBG's Bayer Welcome Center at (412)[masked] to check if class is in session.
