Come along to Open Screen - film screening night at Film Oxford.
• What we'll do It's a FREE night out to watch and discuss short films. Bring along films you’ve been working on (finished or unfinished), show your latest film kit and network with local filmmakers. If you have videos you’d like to show, get in touch beforehand by emailing [masked] Films need to be under ten minutes (or show a clip from a longer film), and a member of the crew needs to come along – to tell us about the making of the film, and to ask and answer questions. Here's a blog about the last Open Screen evening to give you a better idea of what it's all about... • What to bring This event is FREE but please bring a snack or a bottle of drink to share at the break. • Important to know Please remember to email [masked] beforehand if you've a film you'd like to screen at the event.

What we're about

Open Screen (formerly ‘10:10’) is a friendly networking group that meets on the SECOND Thursday of the month, to watch and discuss short films. It runs from 7.30pm-9.30pm at Film Oxford, Catherine St.

Show your film and get crucial feedback!

If you have taken a Film Oxford course or working independently, Open Screen is a great way to maintain contact and to meet other people who also want to make films. It’s open to all filmmakers of any level from novice to professional wanting to watch or show and discuss your work. It can be drama, documentary, finished or unfinished.

Watch films, network and be inspired

Come along and meet other like-minded people and expand your love of filmmaking, get feedback on work in progress or find new ideas for your future film projects. You can just turn up but please let us know in advance if you want to show films, (as this works on a first come first shown basis due to numbers of films shown).
