Talk Description: Service Meshes are the latest software frameworks to support distribute systems across containers, virtual machines, and bare metal infrastructure alike. Two of the more common open source service mesh frameworks include Istio and Consol. These frameworks, when properly configured, can improve network security by seamlessly introducing fine grained access control to APIs and encrypting traffic in motion all without introducing additional development overhead on the software team!
