• What we'll do:
You're invited to our Operation Code Meetup located at and hosted by Axon in Seattle! Our speakers will be sharing their experiences and career and technical insights that will help give our guests the edge in building their careers.

• About Axon:
Axon creates tools and technology for public safety, helping to making our communities safer.

• About our speakers:
-Jacqueline Widdis is a military spouse who became a Program Manager at Microsoft after a 20-year work gap. Jacqueline will be sharing her experiences with overcoming Imposter Syndrome.

-Michael Bailey is a military veteran, Program Manager at Google, and Operation Code mentor. Michael has extensive development and leadership experience. Michael will be sharing his technical insights into modern software development.

• Veteran Organizations:
- We'll spotlight our supporting Veteran Service Organizations: FourBlock, USO, The Mission Continues and Travis Manion Foundation, who are helping veterans and serving the community in many different ways.

- We'll have mentors and guests coming from Axon, Google, Capital One, Microsoft, Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, T-Mobile, and many more!

• What's the format of the Meetup?
- From 6pm to 6:30pm, we'll eat, drink, and build our connections through informal networking with mentors, developers, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
- 6:30pm to 8pm, we'll hear from our esteemed speakers and guests.
- 8pm to 9pm, an opportunity for guests to build new connections with other guests, mentors, and presenters.

• Who's this for?
- Our Meetups are geared towards: technologists, software/systems engineers, students, new developers, technical mentors with experience in the tech industry, career mentors with experience in leadership, and those who are interested in expanding their perspectives.
- We are an inclusive community and we invite all veterans and non-veterans to come to share, listen, and learn.
- Those interested in developing careers in tech
- Experienced developers and / or leaders in software industry to share experiences and mentor others.
