Symphony Irvine Welcomes Violinist Ken Aiso
Symphony Irvine recently made a change to their concert schedule for January. This benefits our group because they will now be performing in Laguna Niguel rather than Bellflower! Internationally renowned violinist Ken Aiso will perform the Saint-Saëns Violin Concerto No. 3, Op. 61. Also on the program will be the overture to the operetta Die Fledermaus, by Johann Strauss II, and a suite of music from the ballet Swan Lake, by Peter Tchaikovsky. There will be three conductors for this program, Artistic Director Dean Anderson will conduct the work by Saint-Saëns, Jeremy DelaCuadra will conduct the Strauss overture, and Binh Vu will conduct Tchaikovsky’s ballet music. Please let me know if you are interested in attending a dinner after the concert and I will arrange closer to the concert date. Tickets - Available at the Door. Seats are not assigned. Please arrive 15/20 minutes early to allow time to purchase your ticket and gather as a group so we can find seats together. $20 - Regular Admission $10 - Seniors and Students Free - Under Age 5 link to Symphony Irvine website: If you are interested in dinner after the concert, we will be going to Thai Bite in Laguna Niguel. Please note that there are two locations for Thai Bite. We will be going to the Thai Bite located at The Center at Rancho Niguel, 28251 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677, which is about 3 miles from the concert location. They don't take reservations and it is a Saturday night so it is possible we will have to wait to be seated. I will call to let them know we will have a group coming around 6:15. What we're about

Public Group

There is so much Art and Culture in Orange County and surrounding areas. This group includes a range of events from theater, lectures, museums, galleries, films, music, architecture, dance, design, restaurants, photography, and more for participants. We celebrate artistry, creativity, and original thinking.

We require a clear facial photo so our organizers can recognize you at events. If you cannot provide a facial photo, please write to me directly to explain the situation. We do allow exceptions. In addition, we need you to apply with a proper name. I will not approve a member without a facial photo as their primary photo. Please honor your RSVP commitments. Many meetups "allow" no shows. We do not. You will be dropped from the group for no shows. If you have events to suggest, please email the organizer. We definitely want to hear from you!
