Creating and Editing an Encore Menu Template in Photoshop!

Just for Fun!
Bring Fun Stuff to Show!
Most often, what we bring to show the group is something we did professionally or as a learning project. Tonight you are invited to bring and show projects you did to entertain yourself or those close to you. We'll also include serious projects that started, "just for fun." Each thing you share must be under 5 minutes long and not more than 10 minutes in total. It doesn't have to be video. A slide-show, animation, website, an audio composition or other creative endeavor would be great. This will be a blast!
Pro Principles: Wordpress Basics
In this 2nd WordPress segment, Mike McGready will discuss the most basic WordPress choice you must make. Go simple and have WordPress host your site or open the door to total freedom and provide another host. Fewer headaches vs. controlling the universe! In future sessions, we will delve into creating full fledged websites using Wordpress, including custom themes.
Besides being the Manager of the Web – Video Crossroads (Adobe User Group), Mike McGready is also a Board Member of both the Orange County MultiMedia Association and the Professional Videographers Network. He is Creative Director and Owner of Album of Life video studios which specializes in creating heirloom quality event videos. The Album of Life Webworks segment of his business develops websites that adjust to the device used to browse them.
Stump the Pros/Critics Corner
Something on a project you are working on have you stumped? Ask the group if they have any suggestions or information that might help. Also, if you'd like constructive input on one of your projects, bring it to show.
Mike McGready will lead a discussion of what we've seen or heard related to new items or technologies which may impact our futures either personally or professionally
We've arranged for parking passes to be handed out in the drop-off area near the main entrance to the building. Please drive through and be handed your pass before you park. If you arrive after 7:00 PM, park in the visitor area, near the main entrance, and pick up your parking pass in our meeting room. Then re-park after hanging your pass on your vehicle's mirror.
Come early (6:30PM) to enjoy snacks, networking, and your favorite "viral" videos.
The focus of the Web – Video Crossroads (Adobe User Group) is to inspire and instruct our members to take advantage of opportunities involving Web and mobile-device video and the underlying technology. Under the leadership of Mike McGready, Owner and Creative Director of Album of Life video studios, this group will follow technical developments and business trends while supporting and inspiring one another. Web developers/designers or video/audio producers will find our topics invaluable and stimulating.
The Web Video Crossroads meets on the second Thursday of every month. and the fee for Orange County MultiMedia Association non-members is $10, or $5 for students (School of Continuing Education students are admitted free).
