UX Research Workshop: Learn how to create and use a Usage Maturity Matrix

Join fellow OCUXers for an interactive workshop on Usage Maturity Matrix. This is a tool for making user-centered information architecture and design decisions within project constraints led by Alesha Arp, Sr. UX Researcher at MIND Research Institute.

Our designs are expected to entice and engage users. Features and functions need to be prioritized. We need commitments from stakeholders. Information architecture and design decisions need to be made within project constraints.

These all become easier with a usage maturity matrix as our guide.

Usage maturity describes our users’ comfort, familiarity, and degree of use of our designed system.

Attendees will learn the value of a usage maturity matrix and how to create one, and then breakout into a collaborative exercise to make design decisions using a usage maturity matrix.

Seating is limited to 15 participants.

If you RSVP, and your plans change, please let us know so we can open up your seat to the next person on the waitlist.
