What we're about

Do you have questions about parliamentary procedure? Have you been elected to a leadership position in an organization and wish to be better prepared? Are you interested in starting a career as a professional parliamentarian? We would love to hear from you! Guests are welcome to attend any of our meetings and ask questions. We have three units that meet regularly studying parliamentary procedure and an annual meeting in March where we present parliamentary workshops along with our usual business meeting. The Oregon Association of Parliamentarians (OAP) is a division of the National Association of Parliamentarians. NAP and OAP are dedicated to teaching effective meeting management through the use of parliamentary procedure.
