Sixth!

Happy new year and much perseverance with your resolutions, especially those about discipline and public speaking training :D

There are ways to win over people. Usually it all boils down to offering them our attention ( I never "pay" attention, it's a free gift!)

When people, whether individuals, or groups such as an audience, feel acknowledged, heard and seen, and even better, loved, they are very likely to behave in a very friendly manner.

A simple way to prove our interest for people is to ask them questions about themselves, about their opinions or feelings.

Let's become interviewers !

Let's ask questions, let's reformulate the answer to prove that we have really paid, no offered attention, and let's make our point afterwards.

If we are prepared to give, we should receive.

If you have a particular subject you would like to be interviewed about in this session, please let me know.

As usual, I will do my best to combine harmoniously fun and work.

See you there! (please arrive at 6.45pm for a quick start at 7.05pm)

Hi Jean, sorry I can't make it tonight - I look forward to joining you all soon! I wish you a lovely session!

I love this group. I enjoy the sessions I attend. I appreciate the way Jean-Marc runs them - I learn so much from him, both from what he teaches us and the way his personality makes us feel so comfortable and relaxed in the group. I need to learn what he's teaching us and can't imagine a way I'd rather be learning it. Unfortunately I can't really justify the travel time at present unless I'm somewhere nearby beforehand - or my day goes unexpectedly smoothly and I finish early. I doubt if I'll make it today, but I hope it will continue through the year and it will be okay to dip in and out. Happy New Year to you all and I hope I will be back.

Twelve is a very good number for a group like ours. Hopefully a few more people will join, maybe two or three of you will not be able to make it, sometimes it happens so we can expect an excellent start !
