Prep and Conditioning for Orlando

From: Denise B.

Orlando is one month away.  In the past at this time in our season, we've had a couple of distance paddles and a few mock 500 M races under our belt.  Since that is not the case this year,  please introduce cardio into your workout. It is a must for endurance!

Personally I hate cardio but it is a necessity. If you must, start slow but do START! Every journey starts one step at a time.  If you take up jogging and have to walk, jog, walk do it.  As you progress you will jog more and walk less.  If you are doing pushups or situps or chinups and can only do 1, 2 or 3 that is fine add 1 more each day and before you know it you will be doing sets of 15 reps.

Nutrition- eat healthy. You don't have to be a rabbit just eat healthy. One easy way to eat better is simply cut out processed and pre prepared meals. Processed foods are full of chemicals that add flavor to what is just plain junk. Don't you think you are better and more deserving, I do!
