2013 Weather Protocols

From: Randy C.
Sent on: Tuesday, May 21, 2013 3:18 PM

Today’s afternoon storm reminded me to review our severe weather protocol for practices. Going forward, we’ll always bring circuit training equipment which we can used at the dog park pavilion if we get caught up in a thunderstorm. However, please check Meetup 1 hr prior to driving (or your emails if you registered for that practice), as we’ll notify you of any cancellation due to inclement weather or other circumstances.

Do not assume a practice is cancelled if it is raining in your part of town – we have squeak in many of practices while it was “cats and dogs” in Gastonia.  And yes, we'll go out there if raining... we only care about lightning.  So bring a cap!
