    Hey Organizers! Come out to Pet Shop and celebrate all of our amazing communities at this epic year end party. Please come prepared with some resolutions and goals for your group in 2019 :) Whether you're based out of NJ and want to come hang out in your own backyard, or you're in NYC and wanna take the big leap across the Hudson, everyone's invited to our next social meetup in Jersey City! Come share a drink with fellow organizers and collaborate on how we can grow with our Meetups and reach our full potential. Meetup will cover the first round or two and some appetizers :) What will happen at this Meetup? Meetup organizers create amazing community across a variety of topics, but we all have shared experiences.     In the spirit of giving thanks, let’s gather over dinner and give back to our local community. Gather: Connect with other organizers over a scrumptious Thanksgiving-themed dinner. We’ll share stories about why you’re grateful for your Meetup community and ideas on how to incorporate community service into our Meetup groups. Give back: We’re collecting donation items for The Bowery Mission.The Bowery Mission has served homeless and hungry New Yorkers since the 1870s. Each meal and every service is an invitation to residential and community programs that help clients make progress towards their goals. For more information, please visit www.bowery.org.     We're excited to host our second Meetup organizer social at Brooklyn Brewery! This night will be all about celebrating our NYC organizer community by connecting with each other, sharing some drinks (non-alcoholic drinks will be available, too!), and meeting other community leaders around the city.     We’re partnering with Write/Speak/Code to educate tech organizers or potential tech organizers on best practices to start a group! Hosting a tech meetup can be a great way to build community, learn, network, and help others. But starting one can be really intimidating. How do you do it? What do you need to know?
