Gentle Yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong are movements and stretches with deep breathing that can improve flexibility, energize the body, calm the mind, and help you deal better with stress.
This is a group for people interested in gentle movement practices and/or meditation technqies. All people, all ages, all levels of fitness are welcome and encouraged to attend.
These practices are designed to be easy and gentle, but they have powerful results especially when practiced on a regular basis. They help release tension, improve balance, increase focus, and develop inner calm.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Feel free to bring a bottle of water. If attending our outdoor classes, please dress according to weather conditions - protecting yourself from both hot or cold temperatures as appropriate. For some classes, a yoga mat or large towel is appropriate.
