Who are some of your favorite writers? Or the last book you have read?

Last book I read was Fall of the Roman Empire by Peter Heather. Tastes have always been eclectic. Read a lot of histories.

What would you like to improve with your writing?

Marketing. Inspiration.

What genres do you tend to write? For example, paranormal romance, hard science fiction, etc.

Histories. some sci fi, romance

What is the best or worst piece of writing advice you've ever been given?

Best: Try not to use the same words repeatedly. Personally I believe great writing is like great art. It deliberately has some ambiguity that the reader can fill in as they wish.

When participating in small group discussions, do you more often listen or wait to speak?

That's only polite.

I'm Mark Shafranski. Would like to share a short story.
