Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if I'll be attending, but this conference sounds interesting at least, and fairly close to Orlando. If anyone decides to attend, feel free to let me know:

Attention Florida Writers, Authors, Publishers: FAPA Fall Conference Sept. 20-21 in Daytona Beach The Florida Authors and Publishers Association (FAPA) is now accepting registrations for its 2013 Fall Ed-U-Conference: "Money Making Strategies for Authors and Publishers” scheduled for Friday, Sept. 20 to Saturday, Sept. 21 at Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center. On Friday, FAPA will offer a choice of two full-day pre-conference workshops: “Children’s Book Business: Production, Promotion, and Presentation” and “Writing, Publishing and Marketing Books.” There will be a reception Friday evening. Saturday’s full-day conference will cover a wide range of topics and feature several experts from the book publishing and marketing industry. Topics include legal issues affecting authors and publishers, blogging, money making strategies, and a panel discussion during which the speakers will answer questions. Take advantage of early bird savings by registering before July 31. Conference costs include breakfast, lunch, and Friday night reception. To register or for more information, visit or contact FAPA Secretary Ellen Valladares at [address removed]. If you are interested in being a sponsor or vendor, please contact Jane Wood at [address removed].
Here's the link to the cost of the conference:

Best wishes,
