Classes are on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 PM.
And Saturdays at 11:30 AM.
The instructor adjusts to the average level of all the students who attend the class. The classes on Thursdays may be geared more towards beginners and folks who haven't done Yoga in a while, or who need to take it easy.
Maria's classes usually last about an hour and fifteen minutes, and may include some relaxing reiki-massage around the temples and ears, so don't be surprised while in Savasana that you will get a few seconds of nice touch.
Maria Eugenia has several pages on Facebook,
Cost: $10.00, preferably cash; there is no credit card swiping capability.
Don't forget to bring your yoga matt, some water in a nice water bottle to drink, a towel, and dress comfortably.
There are nice bathrooms down the hall way. You may need to bring a bag to keep your clothes and stuff together in a corner. The room is like a dance studio with mirrors on one side, so ignore looking at yourself or others in the mirrors.
"For the Best Yoga in town!"
PS: Reminder of the ever popular Saturdays yoga class at 11:30 AM, but note the change on one of those classes every month. The CHANGES ARE: For the first Saturday of each month, Maria will start the class one hour earlier and that will provide students with more restorative yoga postures and movements, more time to hold the stretches, more time for the relaxation pose, and Reiki, and more importantly, more time for meditation. And that class will therefore last twice as long and will cost twice as much, $20.
