Re: [Orlando-iOS-Developer-Group] Re: Exploring Google Maps for iOS

Apologies to everyone for sending this out. I was including the Orlando iOS group on my reply so I could recover the e-mail address, but accidentally kept it in when I replied to his e-mail.

Code School is beta testing their Google Maps for iOS course and would like to include members of our group. The beta testing is free to participate in and you can sign up on Eventbrite.

Hey Jon,

You're more than welcome to send an e-mail to the group. You can do it through meetup.com or by sending an e-mail to [address removed]. If you'd like me to send it out please send me the exact copy you'd like to include.

Thanks!

Andrew

Hey Andrew!

Do you mind promoting to the iOS dev group a beta event for our newest iOS course that’s happening on Thursday March 13th at 6:30pm?

Here’s the page to reserve a ticket for the event: https://googlemapsforios.eventbrite.com

The only thing they need to bring is a Mac running Xcode 5, a power cord, and headphones.  We’ll give them all of the info they need to get beta access to the course and feed everyone in exchange for them spending 2 or 3 hours going through the course and watching the videos and testing out our challenges.

It’s not a purely beginner course, so it’s best if anyone attending as a basic knowledge of iOS so we can get the most out of it.

Thanks, and I hope all is well!

Jon
