Beginning Kayak Lesson

  • This location is shown only to members

  • Join us for an Introduction kayaking class.  For the beginner who has never been in the kayak or the intermediate paddler who would like to perfect skills to better enjoy the sport of kayaking.  Including forward strokes for efficiency and turning strokes with finesse for better control.

    Reservation Required Please call[masked] to make reservation and payment. Please call the shop by Monday before the Class to reserve your spot

    Price $59. include use of rental kayak the water instruction.

    Many trips fill up several weeks in advance so don’t wait till the Friday before to sign up or we may not have any spaces left.) Times, dates, location subject to change. Confirm before Class.

    Class meets at Osprey Bay Outdoors 160 N. Belcher Rd. to check in at 10:00 and we'll head over to the water together.

    What to Bring. Plenty to Drink, water shoes, sun screen, Hat, Bug repellent, snack, towel, change of clothes and shoes, Dry Bag, Sunglasses with lanyard, Appropriate clothes for conditions (bathing suit or light weight fast drying sun protective clothes when warm; Fleece, wool, or other layers of cold weather paddling gear when cold.) (Don't wear blue jeans or cotton t-shirts when on the water when it’s cold: they dry very slowly and will make you colder when wet or damp.)
