Economics Week 2013

Hello OIC,

My name is Billy Chunhim Cheung and I am currently organizing Economics Week 2013 for the Economics Student Association (ESA) of uOttawa. Please take a look at our schedule below for details for speakers. This year the ESA tried to cater to as many different interests in economics as possible, hopefully there will be a presentation that you will find interesting.

If you wish to attend, please sign up at our website below.

Thank you,

Billy Chunhim Cheung

Economics Week is an annual event hosted by the undergraduate Economics Student Association of University of Ottawa. The purpose of this event is to expose to students of the University of Ottawa, as well as to the general community, the importance of economic literacy and the application of economics to analyzing and solving some of society's most pressing issues.

This year, Economics Week will begin on March 4th and will end on March 8th. The focus of this year's Economics Week is to bridge the ideas and theories presented in the classroom with the real-world practice of economics by professionals through a series of speaker events covering a wide variety of topics. Below is a schedule of the invited speakers, their biographies, and the topic of discussion.
