  • This location is shown only to members

The kickoff meeting will be an informal meet and greet followed by a talk by our guest speaker Doug Shimp with 3Back LLC entitled "Scrum in a Nutshell". We are happy to have Doug, a leader in the Scrum community, join us for our Kickoff meeting!

The meeting will be an opportunity for anyone who is curious about Scrum to learn more, for new users of Scrum who would like an opportunity for mentoring, and for veterans of Scrum who want to network with other enthusiasts.

The meeting was good. I think it could have been a bit better if we could have heard from more people. Perhaps for the next meeting we should spend the first 10 min going around the room and have everyone introduce themselves, their experience with scrum and what they hope to take away from these meetings.

It was a great opportunity to get introduced to SCRUM and meet many knowledgable people. I will definately participate in further meetings. Thanks to the organizers.

I think the talk from Doug was a refreshing change from the church of Agile and Scrum. The Q&A was good as well with the usual first time meeting jitters everyone has.
