For decades bar culture has loomed large in the LGBTQ community. During this three-hour stroll, learn why bars have played such an outsized role in gay life. Join us as we tip back our glasses at four special gay/lesbian bars, on an entertaining tour of Manhattan’s most storied neighborhoods.

• Why did Village waterfront bars welcome the rougher side of gay life
ª Who was the woman who opened the first lesbian nightclub? How has she been immortalized?
• Which bar was the site of a major gay protest resulting in a famous court case years prior to Stonewall?
• What are the biggest threats to today’s gay bar culture?

During our walk, we will see the site of former LGBTQ bars, clubs, and speakeasies, and visit some of those that are open today. The tour stops for optional beverages at The Cubby Hole, Henrietta Hudson's, the Stonewall Inn, and Julius.

Today’s tour originated in conjunction with the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation.

Public Speaking Coach Eduardo Placer of Fearless Communicators will help you overcome your fears of speaking in public.

Does speaking publicly make your pulse race? We've got you.
“According to most studies, people's number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death. Death is number TWO. Does that sound right? This means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you're better off in the casket than doing the eulogy.”
- Jerry Seinfeld

You’re a top pro in your field, but the idea of speaking publicly on a panel, at a conference, or even at a networking event can send you into a tailspin.

Public speaking anxiety is real--and for many LGBTQ+ speakers, years of self-judgment and self-editing make that anxiety more acute.

But what would it be like to speak about your work from a place of greater authenticity and power?

Fearless Communicators helps a global community of entrepreneurs and thought leaders with "what to say and how to say it.” Using training from the top theater conservatories in the U.S., we help speakers show up grounded in BODY, present of MIND, leading from the HEART and speaking into the SPIRIT of our shared humanity.

In this webinar, you’ll learn Fearless Communicators’ #1 hacks for public speaking anxiety.

You’ll get:
• Three easy ways to prepare your BODY to speak publicly in any setting. • You’ll slow your racing heartbeat, find a sense of ease, and speak through technology instead of to technology.
• One powerful MINDSET tool to make public speaking joyful and fun
• Our Key Tips for handling public speaking over dreaded platforms like ZOOM.
