We will be crossing the Steel Bridge on the pedestrian path and working our way up to Williams Avenue. We will ride out Williams which is a major bike commuter route, and head over to Mississippi. After a break at Gravy for coffee (and maybe share an oatmeal brulee!), we will work our way back to Lucky Lab where some, if not all of us will stop to warm up, have lunch and chat before heading home.

Time: Be at the Lucky Lab on NW Quimby by 9:45 for introductions and instructions. Be ready to ride at 10 AM sharp. If you have to cancel at the last minute please call or text me at[masked] to let me know.

Pace: <12mph - No one gets dropped

Distance: 10 miles

Hills: One short incline but no worries, we aren't in a rush

Attitude: Very social and easy going

Traffic: Some bike path, some city streets with commuter bike lanes

Ride Leader: Joan Nugent [masked][masked] Please call or email with any questions or concerns.

Helmets must be worn at all times while riding. This is a requirement and not a request.

Always bring plenty of water, snacks for energy, a flat repair kit, including a spare tube. A tool kit and small pump is good, but if you don’t have one there is usually someone on a group ride who does. Carry a credit card and a little cash to buy refreshments.

Mandatory for all riders.

Obey traffic laws and remember you’re a representative of the greater cycling community and should conduct yourself that way on the road. Please represent us well.

All riders must have their rides in good working order and must bring a flat kit & spare tube on all rides. Please ask for help before the ride if you are ill equipped prior to the ride. We will try to help!

All riders must be able to change a flat should they have one or have a way to get picked up (AAA, a friend…). There is usually but not always someone on the ride who knows how to help you change your tire so plan accordingly.
