Come for an evening of LGBTQ meditation practice, discussion, tea & cookies at Cambridge Insight Meditation Center. Taught by our favorite meditation teacher, Madeline Klyne, this program is suitable for all levels. If you have never tried meditation, are a beginner or have had a practice for years, this evening is for you. It includes meditation instruction, sitting meditation, walking meditation, an inspiring LGBTQ-focused Dharma Talk, discussion, tea, and cookies. Come make new friends and help build the OutBreath community! This is CIMC's signature LGBTQ event.
A meet up for men of ALL STRIPES, different colours, gay, straight, trans or bi! All levels encouraged, an introduction to Mindful, Buddhist Meditation practices with addition of Yoga and Breathing. Also some other Mindful Movements to help deal with major and minor stressors. All these practices can be used by anyone wherever you are. Very handy in this one, crazy, wild and beautiful world! Our mission is to develop harmonious male spiritual community in the Greater Boston Area! Please join us if you share this spirit!
Spend a relaxing Sunday morning on the beautiful South Shore enjoying a vibrant and growing LGBTQ meditation community. This guided sitting meditation and Dharma discussion is a community gathering for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning. Tea and snacks will follow. Presented by SSIMC Guiding Teacher, Madeline Klyne. Registration: This is a drop-in group, no pre-registration. Sustaining donation $10 at the door.
The Shambhala LGBT Meditation Group offers a safe space for those who identify as queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning to come together to explore the practice of meditation and support each other in community. Previous meditation experience is not required. We will update with program specifics as each evening approaches.
