Led by Chuck Raffoni ( E-RYT200) named a "person making postiive change in the world for the LGBTQ Community" by Pride Connections and featured on NBC's TODAY SHOW for teaching yoga to men.

Join together for a day of brotherhood with like minded men for a day of Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditiation to explore how these practices can enhance our lives and the issues we face. Powered by the philosophy of the Yoga Sutras we will discuss how these practices can support how we deal with stress, aging, body image, sexuality and how we relate and support each other.

Tentative Schedule:

10:30 a.m. -11:45 p.m. Introductions and workshopping of essential poses to begin or deepen our practice and warm up the body.

11:45- 1 p.m. - Yoga Asana Practice- The more energetic of the two exercise practices. You do not need to know the names of Yoga Poses to participate. The practice is welcoming to beginners but it is recommended for able-bodied individuals. By able-bodied those who are able to sit on the floor, lay on their back and stand for periods of times, are not working with serious injuries or illness.

1:00 p.m. - 2 p.m. Lunch Break ( Bring Your Own Lunch or Pick Up From a Local Option). We will use this time to commune over food and get to know each other better.

2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Discussion on how the practice of Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation can support a quality life. Powered by the philosophy of the Yoga Sutras we will apply the concepts to areas of our lives including stress management, aging, body image, sexuality and how we respond to and support one another.
