Backpack with Kids Hagerman Lake trail
We will backpack with kids up Hagerman lake trail is aout 2.5 miles to camp at Hagerman Lake. It is a mellow hike lots of old tunnels and a cave that we will pass along the way. I may camp out around the area Friday night so we don't have to drive early Saturday morning. ( I will add more once I figure out Friday night.) We will meet at the trail head around 9:45am and start hike in Saturday morning around 10am. Please dress appropriately. It can rain. Directions to the trail. https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd520431.pdf https://www.aspentrailfinder.com/colorado-midland-trail/ From Leadville, follow signs to Turquoise Lake Recreation Area, travel west on the southern loop around the lake (Lake County Rd 9), and turn left on County Rd 4. Take the Hagerman Pass Road (Forest Service Road 105) 3.75 miles to the parking area. The last 1/4 mile is passable by high clearance vehicle only. What we're about

This is a group for families with toddlers and children that are interested in hiking, backpacking, camping, mountain biking, rock climbing, swimmming and weekend travel adventures.

All skill levels welcome. I started this group because my husband and I are very passionate in keeping the life we had before kids. We love all outdoor adventure activities and enjoy getting out of the city. We enjoy introducing outdoor activities to our 4.5 year old son. He loves riding his strider, going camping and rafting. We would like to meet other families that are interested in similar activities with their children. We are looking foward to exploring the outdoors with all of you!

If you would like to organize and event please attend at leat two or three events that one of the event organizer has organized.
