A Ranger will take us paddling the area of water known as White Oak Creek. Paddle will begin at Crosswinds Boat Ramp which is located off of Farrington Point Road (State Road 1008) about 1/4 mile north of Hwy 64.
This paddle is recommended for experienced paddlers only. Paddle will take place on open water and there may be boat traffic. Bring binoculars to view wildlife along the route! Dress according to the weather and plan to get a little wet. (A rain jacket will protect you from water and wind.)
Paddle may be cancelled due to the weather (rain, high winds or too cold). All equipment provided (life jackets, paddles, and canoes). I will send a notice if this happens.
If you have your own gear/canoe/kayak and would like to join us, please do!
Reservations must be made in advance and ages 10 and over are welcome to participate. Younger children must accompany adults who are paddling.
Please RSVP here and with Ranger Steve McMurray at 919-362-0586 ext 219 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
