- Sunday Southampton - Browns Mills - Pemberton Loop C+ 29 miler
I'm going to try out a new route, with some new roads, on the east side of Rt 206. We'll start out at the parking lot just next to Southampton Municipal Court, and head towards Browns Mills, circling Mirror Lake, then heading through Pemberton, and then make our way back towards Southampton, via Vincentown. Total of 29 miles, we'll do C+ pace (15-16), with some occasional breakaways. Same as the Bike Tour at Brendan Byrne State Forest but in reverse. 11.5 miles. Road bikes, hybrids & mountain bikes are all appropriate for the ride. - Exploring Columbus and Allentown 53 C+ Pace
Had terrible luck getting out on the bike this week. Have to make Saturday count! A different starting spot and some new roads. Also, a later starting time! (Weather looks like it'll support that.) Rest stops at 23 (Wawa) and 37 miles. Second stop is the Moth Coffeehouse in Allentown. - Friday Ride from St. Peter's Church
Let's try this again because it's so much fun. I will be leading for Fran on Friday, July 19, 2019. We will meet at St. Peter's Church parking lot at 9:00 am and ride around Medford Lakes. Helmets, spare tubes and tools are required. Please bring lots of water; it's going to be hot/humid. We will ride approximately 25-30 miles at a C pace (12-15 mph). - A Visit to Vineland with Mike
We'll be heading down to the biggest little town in New Jersey from Scotland Run Park. This will be a 35-40 mile loop at an easy C/C+ pace with a food stop in Vineland. Seeing that we are in the area, we might as well take a short side trip to see a local landmark, the Palace of Depression. Helmet and tire fixings are a must. Road bikes only. - Kenz Krooz
C pace ride (12-14 avg. speed) with breakaways. Distances from 15 - 25 miles depending on the amount of available daylight. Thunder, lightning, or rain requiring the use of wipers before we set off cancels the ride. Bring a helmet, water bottle(s), and spare tube. Front and back lights increase your visibility as we ride towards dusk.
