This class will be an in depth hands on skills course on the priorities of Survival and getting found.

Emergency Signaling (Passive and Active... Including smoke and mirrors) Emergency Firestarting (Primitive and modern) Emergency Shelters (Immediate Action, primitive and modern) Water collection and purification methods (modern and primitive) Food Procurement techniques— Foraging and trapping (Primitive and Modern) Basic First Aid —Treating Cuts, Burns, hypothermia, splinting, slings, more ... Aside from building on your individual skills, you will also learn to work as a team with uniquely designed skills challenges.
Everyone that participates in this course will receive, as part of the course, a brand new fixed blade sheath knife and emergency fire starting device —FREE of charge.

We will walk/hike in about 2 miles and perform a few stream crossings, so wear appropriate footwear.
Class will run apprx 7-8 hours
Please bring appropriate clothing (Bring a jacket, even if it's warm out)
Please bring hydration (there is a stream we will also collect and purify water from)
Please bring something to eat
If you have a survival kit, bring it, so you can work with it
