Hike Through Old LA Zoo & More

Meet at The Griffith Park Merry Go Round Parking Lot. From the I-5 North, take the Griffith Park exit. From the 134, go to I-5 South. From the I-5 South, take the Los Felix Blvd West/ Griffith Park exit. Then travel north along Griffith Park Drive until the sign for the Merry Go Round tells you to turn Left. Park in the Lot and meet at the parking lot entrance. We are meeting at the 1st parking lot-- closest to the merry go round

Meet at 4:15, but leave at 4:30 PM.

We'll hike through the Old LA Zoo (Anchorman movie was filmed here: http://www.seeing-stars.com/locations/Anchorman.shtml) and (http://www.seeing-stars.com/locations/Anchorman.shtml) through Griffith Park on a 6 mile hike RT with 1,000 feet elevation gain. We'll stop at the old LA Zoo so you can take pictures in the cages! You can either pretend you are in jail or in a cage! A moderate hike. Not recommended for beginners unless they are in good shape. Bring 2 bottles of water and sneakers with good traction.
