Our weekend trip to Cheddar Gorge just got even more exciting!
We've lined up an awesome new Sunday activity - caving! A great opportunity to try out something new and explore the underground with its fascinating fossils, formations and markings.
We will be caving in Goatchurch Cavern. This is a cave on the edge of Burrington Combe in the limestone of the Mendip Hills in Somerset. In 1860 William Dawkins records many archaeological findings including bones of mammoth, hyaena, cave lion and bear.
Goatchurch Cavern is an awesome venue for beginners as It offers a bit of everything - squeezes, crawls, climbs and a small stream at the bottom. The cave is quite a maze and boasts with routes suitable for all abilities!
Save you spot today and enjoy a thrilling introduction to caving in Goatchurch Cavern!
