Live Music Saturday - Weekend Tsunami

Happy Hour starts at 5pm and Live music begins at 6 pm featuring the Weekend Tsunami.

Vic Artiga is our very own “local boy does good”. He is a proud Sunset District native and a retired Army officer. Vic loves playing blues, jazz, worship, and rock guitar and ukulele. He honed his musical chops studying at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood and performing in Hawaii, California, and the Middle East. Not one to rest on his laurels he continues to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and recently received Berklee’s Celebrity On Line Scholarship. Recently a Chinese language TV news crew featured his musical performing and teaching talents. Currently he teaches guitar and uke at Guitar Center Studios in Emeryville. He regularly performs with the Guitar Center house band, The GCs, and the soul, pop, jazz duo, VIP Music Duo. Jim Bergstrom is a retired Air Force pilot and singer-songwriter from Honolulu currently working in Los Angeles. Jim always delivers rock solid vocals and brings a unique island connection to his original songs. He has lots of experience performing in local bands, on the theatre stage, and with worship groups. Jim grew up on a steady diet of music, gigs for God, and was a key member of Hawaii’s ambassadors of groove, the Casual Lifters. In addition to a love for playing classic rock, folk, country, and blues; Jim also enjoys people, airplanes, and “a bad buzz from good booze”. Jay Elliot is a retired Naval aviator and the founder of the Washington DC based Mercenary House Band—a band making and performing original blues based rock. When he doesn’t have an electric guitar slung around his neck he plays acoustic gigs at wineries in Virginia. Over the years he has played in a variety of bands around the country and for crowds from five to 5,000 including one on the flight deck of a Navy aircraft carrier in the middle of the Indian Ocean! Before moving back to the East Coast he had a steady Friday night gig on Oahu playing acoustic and classic rock. If you made it to the island you might have caught him playing at Gordon Biersch, Kelly O’Neil’s in Waikiki, or at O’Tooles’ pub in downtown Honolulu. “Dynamic with good energy” describes Jay’s performances. He focuses on doing unique cover songs selected from a wide spectrum of genres spanning the 60’s to today. Come enjoy the music with your friends or meet new friends!
