What we're about
This group is in a holding patern because we do not have a meeting location which will provide us the privacy and comfort we need. You are welcome to apply at any time but we won't be meeting until the location issue is resolved. If you have suggestions for a place with couches that we may meet, please feel free to write to the organizer with that idea. Hopefully, by the end of the first quarter of 2012, we will have a location. Sorry, for any inconvenience.
We usually meet on Saturdays, once a month from about 1p-3p. Our meetings will be held in the general Bothell, Lynnwood, Mill Creek areas.
We are a group of women looking to share our inner strength and wisdom with each other to help us get through the hard times and to Celebrate the joy that life has to offer. The goal is to develop a core group of P.O.W. W.O.W. (Power of Women, Wisdom of Women) members whom can support each other through thick and thin and through the giggles, of course.
What a P.O.W. W.O.W is:
As Women, we possess a lot of power that can be shared with others for the good of each woman + the greater good. We will be meeting to share information that enhances or makes our lives easier, exchange problem solving strategies and solutions, strengthen our friendships that started in our bunko group + help each other through rough times via active and compassionate listening. This is a perfect opportunity for each of us to express what we are passionate about and to share it with others, without being judged. This is an opportunity to create a stronger bond with girlfriends.
We have developed a "safe" policy which will ensure that "private matters" will be kept within our hearts and not shared with people outside of the meeting. Other non-personal matters may be shared and networking will be encouraged.
No cost to participate.
No food to bring (no potluck).
No obligation to participate.

Our group has one main meeting a month but may have other small activities on the side such as "Free Listening Project" or visiting sick children in the hospital during the holidays to give them a small stuffed toy. We had a ladies Holiday gift exchange early in December.
You may also consider joining some of us to play Bunko with our Wildwood Bunko group. We have about 30-40 women play bunko for cash prizes each month and tons of giggling and gaiety!!! Lot's of cash to win! No cost to join our groups.
