Love acoustic music? Jon Garon, Jack Lawrence and guests at the Old Log!

Guitarists Jack Lawrence and Jon Garon - A Tribute to the Music of Doc Watson
Jack Lawrence is heralded as one of the finest acoustic guitarists in the country and is highly regarded for his prominent role as partner to the legendary guitar icon, Doc Watson. The two musicians toured the country for two decades appearing in many of the top folk and bluegrass venues playing a broad range of music that included blues and bluegrass as well as folk. Much of this great music will be featured in this special tribute to Doc Watson.
Several other noted musicians including Jon Garon, Mark Kreitzer, Tom Schaefer, and David Tousley will join Jack Lawrence in this concert. Jack and Jon have performed together extensively in this country and Europe. Their blend of flatpicking and fingerpicking guitar highlight traditional American acoustic music and especially the styles of Doc Watson and Merle Travis.
The appearance of these renowned musicians will be a rare treat for those who appreciate acoustic music.

Tickets are $18, but we get a special rate of $10 for our group. To be included at this rate, send me your name at [masked] and I'll forward the list of names to Jon, and we'll only be charged $10 each at the door. Invite your friends--this'll be a great show!

Very entertaining; these guys are great story tellers in addition to being excellent musicians. They played for over 2 hours. That $10 went a long way.

Roslynn, so sorry you couldn't make it. They're playing Thursday night in Delano, but that's hardly close! It was a great show and I'll let you know when they return!
