I wonder…
Looking for suggestions for a time and place. "I wonder..." To wonder has been the elixir of inspiration and joy, the eye opener to miracles, the perpetual "why?" without a defined answer that keeps me thinking out of the box, and the open ended question that keeps me Alive and in the moment! Albert Einstein said “The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead —his eyes are closed. The insight into the mystery of life, coupled though it be with fear, has also given rise to religion. To know what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms—this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.” Look through some of these videos or suggest similar videos that inspire your sense of wonder: Shots of Awe (https://www.youtube.com/user/ShotsOfAwe/featured)

Read some of our Passages here. (https://www.meetup.com/PASSAGES-Hawaii/messages/boards/)

Ever come across a passage in a book that resonates with you so deeply – or perplexes you so completely – that you simply want to share it with others or explore different interpretations? Sometimes words catch our attention because they strike something very deep within us; sometimes they resonate for reasons unknown to us. Sharing such passages with others helps inform our wisdom and transform us as human beings by expanding our view and increasing our depth.

Join us for an hour or two of sharing passages that will inspire you and bring new meaning to your life. Passages is an open forum designed for the sharing of any passage a member finds worthy of exploring with others. Passages can be excerpts from books, a line from a movie, a favorite quote - it does not matter from whence it came, only that it mattered somehow. Through the sharing of passages - and the media from which they are drawn - we seek to enhance and access our inner wisdom and to transform the moment-to-moment experiences of our lives.

Hosted at quiet public places, this small group of sages come together over wine and victuals to share the passages, insight and wisdom of everyday living.
