Gaming at Happy Donuts

Time for another meetup at Happy Donut. Happy Donut is spacious, has nice long tables, never closes, and if they would start selling filled donut holes it would be the perfect place.  :)

Don't forget to support our gaming-friendly Donut store by buying something when you come. Places that tolerate a big group of gamers like ours aren't easy to find.

If you have some games that you would like to bring, please do, and also mention them in your reply. If you have a game box that is developing a nice layer of dust, feel free to bring it along (minus the dust).

Cheers and see you then,

I'll bring a big basket of games to Christmas Day gaming. A few of the games are Power Grid:First Sparks, Princes of Florence, Beowulf: The Legend, and Back to the Future:The Card Game (a rethemed Chrononauts that IMHO fits much better than the original did). I also have word games (Disorder is a fun quick one that was given away at BGG.Con) and party games (Dixit, of course, but I've been looking to get Time's Up on the table for quite a while; it's the perfect improvement on the Taboo/Charades/Pictionary genre if you're willing to commit to the 1-1.5 hours it takes the first time).

Actually I'm thinking of stopping by, and I'm a Christian. I think playing board games would be a nice way to spend Christmas evening for those who don't have family plans. Of course I think it would be nice for people who can drag their whole family there, too, but how many people have a family that's cool that way? ;-)

Are we on for this week? I'm guessing only the heathens like myself will be present.
