Beginning September 16th 2018 we will offer a 13 week series of beginner-level meditation classes. The series is designed to create a foundation for meditation practice by introducing the techniques for "calm abiding" (shamatha), the four immeasurables, "sending and receiving" (tonglen), "clear seeing" (vipahyana) and deity yoga. The series is based on Kathleen McDonald's book "How to Meditate." Participants are encourage to supplement the series with a study of the text. No experience is needed; all are welcome; prior participation not required. There will be time for question and answers. Experienced meditators are encourage to participate in our 11:30 AM session on Sundays.
