Saturday Morning Breakfast Burritos!

This is our usual Saturday morning run in Forest Park, except... Breakfast Burritos! Lots of them! Sulma and I are going to make breakfast burritos for everyone, just because, so RSVP early please so we can get a good head count of how many people to expect. Also let me know if you prefer corn vs flour, etc. See you soon!

I tried a jog this a.m. and leg still hurts a little so will abstain for one more week. Enjoy the post run burrito sacrifice!

I ran with ya'll a while back. Back in town and looking forward to running on some trails! I'll bring some of my homemade extra hot sauce if that sounds good! Anything else needed? I could bring a thermos or two of hot coffee

Actually, on second thought, if you wanted to bring some coffee, that would be great!

    Hey everyone!
Looking forward to our first breakfast burrito run! (Great idea Brian!)
Thank you Thomas & John for offering to bring coffee!
Could everyone who wants coffee bring their own reusable coffee mug, or cup to minimize waste? Though we will try and set up under the covered area, please keep in mind the forecast includes showers and mid 50's so you may want to bring a warm post run layer or two if you normally don't. I will be staying back and setting up as you all run and am happy to watch over keys, etc.

Distance? (I guess I am asking to post route distances with all the event descriptions thanks)

This run is 5-6 miles, depending on whether we go to Pittock or Wildwood to Wild Cherry. The Tuesday run is just under 5.

I want to eat mine during the run, can I?

Amazing, flour is great! Anything will be fine. I could get a box of coffee, not sure how to keep it warm. Send ideas.

Hello. I will be visiting Portland this weekend from the East Coast and was looking for trail running opportunities. I came across your group and am stoked about your trail run on Friday so I joined your group! What should I bring - long pants/shirt or short? I tend to run a bit hot so cool temps don't bother me. Will be coming from University Place Hotel & Conference Center - I will just catch a cab I suppose. Looking forward to it! Mike

Hi Mike, hmm, there's so much variation in the group... some guys where shorts and t-shirts pretty much all year round, others long sleeves on all but the warmest days. I'm thinking shorts and t-shirt or long sleeve would probably be fine. You want to be a little on the cool side before you start running.

I should have said *Saturday* not Friday. Oops.

I'm hoping to be back with you guys on most Sat mornings again!...see you in a little over a week...

yes!! flour is fine, but so is corn.
Can I bring anything, like salsa & hot sauce?

    May 2, 2014

    • Brian

Sure that'd be great, always good to have options :)

      May 2, 2014

  • Brett P.

Is this before or after the run?

    1 · May 2, 2014

    • Brian

It's before for you Brett, after for everyone else.

      1 · May 2, 2014

  • Connie

Fun!! I can bring bowls and corn tortillas for those who want low carb or Gluten Free. :)
