For our fifth monthly meetup, we're invited to visit Enrise again. Located at the Eemplein, their office is easily reached by public transport and car. There's limited free parking space next to their office, but don't worry: there will be plenty of space in the nearby Eemplein parking garage ( http://www.parkeergarageeemplein.nl/ ).

Linked & Open Data
There's a new kid in town, and it's called Linked Data. The PiLOD (Pilot Linked Open Data Nederland) workgroup consists of mainly government parties who are exploring the world of Linked Open Data. While they are using it particulary to solve government issues (how can the tax agency talk with local government systems for example), Dimitri van Hees thinks that the (open) data revolution can enrich our apps and online experience. He coordinates 'Case 5' of this years PiLOD and wants to enable the developer community to participate and encourage them in investigating this revolution. In his opinion, we should just start using it. That's the only way to find workarounds for the disadvantages LD has for web purposes. Are you in?
Interested to learn more about open and/or linked data; want to join Dimitri in his search for cool ideas and projects? He will be kicking off his community project at PHPAmersfoort!
