Where should we attempt to host the MySQL Configuration Meetup?

I have a feeling this meetup will draw a big crowd. We had ~55 people come out to Dilworth Neightborhoode Grille last year when Peter spoke on Scaling MySQL. This means that our usual meeting place might not be large enough. I want to put it up to a vote which will last 7 days. Keep in mind the options available at each place. Packard Place (not confirmed): 222 South Church Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 (site unseen) Dilworth Neighborhood Grille (not confirmed): 911 East Morehead Street, Suite 200, Charlotte NC 28204 Basement with microphone & projectors... columns in middle Red Ventures: 1101 521 Corporate Center Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29707 Food & Beer provided Cafe with raised stage & TV for presentation, tables & chairs Skookum: 121 West Trade St, Charlotte, NC 28202 Pizza provided Large room with projector and table/chair seating

When should we host our January Meetup?

Peter Zaitsev, CEO of Percona and one of the authors of "High Performance MySQL" by O'Reilly, has offered to speak at our group about MySQL. To accommodate this great opportunity, we will have to change the date of our usual meetup. What date would work better for you?

If TacoMac were our monthly host, would you be ok with buying your own food/beverage?

TacoMac was a big success for the October meetup and the staff was great to work with. I know it is an unconventional place to hold a meetup; however the space was pretty good and they had plenty of beer! We have been lucky to have two great sponsors for the past few meetups, but not every sponsor will give us an open tab. On those months, TacoMac will still need to make some money in order for us to continue using the space.

Will you be attending ZendCon 2010?

I know of some members of this group will be attending ZendCon 2010. This poll is intended to get an idea of how many of us will be going. If you will be attending, please also send me an email if you would be willing to scribe some of the sessions and give an overview of what you learned/interested you at a future meetup.

Would you be interested in the group getting ElePHPants?

I got in contact with Damien Seguy from Nexen, the company who produces the ElePHPant - the PHP community's cute little plush toy. Long story short, they have some available. It is a minimum order of 50. How many of you are interested in the group getting an order of these for door/competition prizes and/or purchase ($10 each)? http://elephpants.com/gallery/
